About this event

Embodiment and relationship – two central and inseparable aspects of the human experience. In ERT we offer a contactful, embodied relationship and study how our clients, and ourselves respond. Developing both our intellectual and intuitive understanding, so that we are better able to utilise our embodied responses to our clients, as a resource for the work.

On this morning webinar we will explore the four-stage model at the heart of ERT: – contact, information gathering, amplification and integration. Exploring together what insights and resources, working in this way, could bring to your practice.

Embodied-Relational Therapy grew out of the Selfheal therapy training led by Nick Totton and Em Edmondson and has existed as a body psychotherapy sub modality for nearly 20 years. The ERT training is currently led by Stephen Tame, Allison Priestman and Jayne Johnson. The work is constantly developing.

I hope you can join me to experience the flavour of ERT. Both its willingness to support practitioners and clients to go into the unknown and its rigorous theoretical base.

This webinar would be a useful taster for the ERT workshop in February and/or the ERT training in Devon, starting in June 2021.
