Kamalamani works in Bristol in private practice. She’s a member of Psychotherapists and Counsellors for Social Responsibility (PCSR), and former steering group member and editor of Transformations, its in-house publication. She's also an accredited member of the BACP, a member of the Association for Humanistic Psychology, and a friend of the Black and Asian Therapists' Network. As a facilitator she loves to hold groups in wild places – both very remote and wilder corners of Bristol - learning in and from the elements, group process and body awareness. Kamalamani has authored two books: Meditating with Character (Mantra Books, 2012), Other than mother: Choosing Childlessness with Life in Mind (Earth Books, 2016) and is working on her third, about impermanence and the allotment she loves to work with her partner. She is also column writer for 'Somatic Psychotherapy Today' a publication for the US Association for Body Psychotherapy.
