Embodied-Relational Therapist, BACP-accredited Counsellor, Facilitator, Supervisor, Author

Emma (until recently known as Kamalamani) works in Bristol in private practice. She’s a member of Psychotherapists and Counsellors for Social Responsibility (PCSR), and former steering group member and editor of Transformations, its in-house publication. She's also an accredited member of the BACP, a member of the Association for Humanistic Psychology, and a friend of the Black and Asian Therapists' Network. As a facilitator she loves to hold groups in wild places – both very remote and wilder corners of Bristol - learning in and from the elements, group process and body awareness. Emma has authored three books: Meditating with Character (Mantra Books, 2012), Other than mother: Choosing Childlessness with Life in Mind (Earth Books, 2016) and Bodywise: weaving somatic psychotherapy, ecodharma and the Buddha in everyday life (Somatic Psychotherapy Today, 2017). She is also column writer for 'Somatic Psychotherapy Today' a publication for the US Association for Body Psychotherapy.
